Matron of Honor
Yes, Anna made her mom the Matron of Honor, because who makes the rules anyways? Anna and Michelle have a very close mother-daughter relationship, which mostly revolves around wine and lengthy FaceTime calls. Anna is honored to have her mom by her side on her big day.
Best Man
Charlie met Joey on February 6th, 1996 and they have been best friends ever since. When they were little, Charlie used to call Joey "pal" and would climb into his crib to read books to him. Throughout the years, they have always been there for each other through thick and thin. One of Charlie's favorite memories of Joey is encouraging him to get potty trained so they could go to Disneyworld. No one (besides Anna!) knows Charlie better than his little brother and he's excited to have him by his side for the big day.
Bridesmaid
Emma is Anna's younger sister. In middle school, Anna had to give a speech about her family structure with the use of visual aids. Anna brought in three carrots and a Cheeto, explaining that her mother, father, and herself were the three carrots, and Emma...the Cheeto. Emma makes the Grassman family exciting, cheese dust and all.

Charlie met John on their first day of high school at Marquette High as John sat just across from Charlie and Charlie was quick to rib John for his Chicago Bears apparel right away. Since then John and Charlie have been nearly inseparable with John being characterized as the third (and sometimes favorite son) in the Hoffmann family. One of Charlie's favorite memories with John is attending back to back Bonnaroo music festivals with him. John is also an integral part of the wedding party as it was his dorm room at UW-Madison where Charlie first met Anna.
Bridesmaid
Chrissie was Anna's first friend when she moved to Baltimore, Maryland for Physical Therapy school. Chrissie and Anna met on an online forum for incoming PT students and agreed to live with Anna solely based on their common love of The Bachelor. Anna sure is glad that they became roommates! She was an integral part of helping Charlie pull off the surprise proposal in Baltimore.
Groomsman
Phil and Charlie first met when they both worked on a campaign in the summer of 2011 while Charlie was still in high school. Phil taught Charlie the art of campaigns and even helped introduce Charlie on the proper way to celebrate an election night victory. Charlie and Phil's friendship continued to evolve once Charlie got to Madison for college and Phil was always willing to offer Charlie advice on his career in politics when he moved to D.C. One of Charlie's favorite memories with Phil is their annual tradition of getting together to watch the Sunday round of the Masters.
Bridesmaid
Anna and Genna met through mutual friends at UW-Madison. Genna's house was exactly 32 steps away from Anna's house senior year of college (we know because we checked). Charlie and Genna were grade school classmates. They even shared a duet in a school musical, where Genna's voice graciously covered up any audible lyrics from Charlie. Genna has known Anna and Charlie for a combined 18 years.

Charlie and Mitch met during their freshman year at UW-Madison and instantly became friends as Mitch and his roommate were known to host power hours in their dorm room before going out. Mitch and Charlie have had a lot of fun over the years including their trip down to Dallas their senior year to watch the Wisconsin Badgers play Alabama. Mitch also deserves credit for this big day as he was the one who encouraged Charlie to make the first "move" on Anna.
Bridesmaid
Shannon and Anna met through mutual friends at UW-Madison. Shannon and Anna share a bond through their love of a good ole time. When Anna started PT school, Shannon helped Anna drive a U-Haul from Wisconsin to Baltimore, where she tried her very first oyster. She's still not too sure about it. Shannon is Anna's partner in crime, whether its across the country, or at bar close.

Charlie and Ross met early on into freshmen year as Ross lived on the same floor as Anna and John Barrett. The two quickly became friends and lived together throughout the rest of college. Despite their divergent political views, Ross and Charlie always enjoy amicable discussions of ongoing political events. One of Charlie's favorite memories of Ross was visiting Ross out in New York City with Anna where Ross showed them around his new adopted city.

Cristina and Anna lived on the same floor of Sellery Hall at UW-Madison. They bonded over their mutual 'Work Hard, Play Hard' attitude. The two spent many long nights at the library together so that they could enjoy their weekends with friends. Cristina is often Anna's voice of reason, unless there is unlimited sushi involved.

Charlie and Phil met at Marquette High after Charlie recruited him to be in a video for the school's freshmen retreat. Despite being a year behind Phil's friend group, Charlie was shortly adopted into the friend group and they have been close ever since. During college Charlie and Phil both made an effort to visit each other in Madison and Boston and Phil has always found the time to make his way up north to Bear Lake when he is back in town over the summers. One of Charlie's favorite memories with Phil occurred when they stayed up late drinking beers at the campfire with a group of friends and witnessed the Northern Lights over Bear Lake.

Katie and Anna met in PT school while studying for their cadaver lab anatomy exam. Katie and Anna enjoy spending quality time together by wandering the aisles of Trader Joe's, discovering new plant shops, or going on dinner dates. Katie has a keen sense for movie quotes, gifting compliments, and serving laughs.
Groomsman
Charlie and Pat met shortly after they both moved to Washington, D.C. after college. Despite growing up a town away from each other and both attending UW-Madison they had not crossed paths until they got to D.C. While in D.C. Pat and Charlie lived together for two years and during that time had many hungover morning trips to the local bagel shop. One of Charlie's favorite memories of his friendship with Pat is when they attended a Migos & Cardi B concert together and Pat accidentally found himself in the middle of a street dice game.

Hanna and Anna met at Appleton West High School and happened to live in the same neighborhood. The two spent most nights at each others’ houses, and even started carpooling to school when they got their driver's licenses. They decided to live together in Sellery Hall their freshman year at UW-Madison. The two are thankfully still friends after living an entire year in a 200 square foot dorm room.

Charlie and Jeff met right as Charlie started college at UW-Madison as Jeff recruited him to join the College Republican club on campus. From there he initiated to the club through numerous late nights at Hawk's Bar & Grill on State Street where Jeff vouched to the bartenders and bouncers that Charlie was 21 even if though he could barely grow facial hair. Charlie followed in Jeff's footsteps and moved to Washington, D.C. after graduation where they proceeded to watch every heartbreaking Badgers loss from 2016-2018 together.

Jill and Anna met at the anatomy lab in PT school. Jill was fascinated by Anna's Wisconsinite love for all things cheese. For Christmas last year, Jill bought Anna an umbrella printed with cows. After an unusually rainy spring, Anna quickly realized that gift was less for her and more for Jill's own personal enjoyment. Jill and Anna spent a few weekends this summer at Delaware beach where Jill tried to convince Anna that beach life was much better than lake life (Anna is still undecided).

Charlie and Mickey met in high school after they were paired to work together for a video project for Marquette High's freshmen retreat. They immediately hit it off and Charlie was quickly adopted into Mickey's friend group who were a year ahead of Charlie in school. Their friendship continued throughout college as Charlie would visit Mickey at Marquette University where Charlie was generally harassed for his unwavering support of UW-Madison. Mickey has been a frequent presence at Bear Lake and in the Man Cave over the years. One of Charlie's favorite memories of Mickey was attempting to force Mickey to jump into Lake Michigan in freezing temperatures for a scene for the previously mentioned freshmen retreat video.

Anna and Miranda met through mutual friends at UW-Madison. The two can often be caught pointing to each other from across the dance floor as one of their many "jams" comes on. Miranda's natural habitat is on the Hoffmann's pontoon, wearing a Badger bucket hat, drinking a Bud Light.
