Really cant answer this, but we personally prefer to use Delta, United, and Hawaiian Airlines.
This is completely up to you. Know that the wedding and most of the events that are happening, are happening on the North Shore of Oahu. Charlie and Amparo have rented a condominium at Turtle Bay in Kahuku for the week of the wedding.
We would say absolutely. It will make your stay here much more enjoyable so that you do not have to worry about getting taxi's or catching a bus.
Oahu can be tricky on this. During the month of October, the water on the north shore can go from calm and flat to huge waves in just a few days. Mostly the beaches on the eastside from Waimanolo to Ka'a'awa are safe year round. Always be cautious on the North and West sides of the island. The south shore is usually pretty calm from Waikiki to Ewa Beach.
Most Hawaiian words that are spelled using a "W" somewhere in the middle are pronounced like a "V" instead. Such as Ewa Beach and Halawa Prison. So don't be confused if someone says EVA Beach and you cant find it on a map!
The short answer is YES! You will have to visit a spot on the town side of the Ford Island Bridge to gain access to Ford Island. Ford Island has the USS Arizona Memorial, the USS Missouri Museum (floating WWII Battleship), US Navy Air Museum. If you have a military ID or are with someone who does, you can get to these places with them and without visiting the visitors center on the town side of the Ford Island Bridge.
