We met working at Magic Kingdom in 2019. Alyanna had only been working in Entertainment for a few months, while I had been working weekends as a PhotoPass Photographer since 2018. The first time we worked together was during Mickey and Minnie's 90th birthday celebration. Alyanna was hanging out with Mickey at the time, while I took photos of their interactions with the families. Once their set was over, the character attendant mentioned to the line that they were off to get some cheesecake. I made a wise comment by saying "We never get any cheesecake". Little did I know, I had embarrassed Alyanna at the time, but Mickey did look back at me. Days later, Alyanna and a fellow Cast Member stopped to talked to me at the parking lot on the way back to my car. Alyanna remembered me as her photographer, but I had never seen her face before. It wasn't until she mentioned the cheesecake incident that made me realize who I was talking to. I asked to exchange Instagram information with the both of them, so that Alyanna wouldn't suspect my interest in her. After messaging each other for a while, I asked her out and our first date took place at Epcot. Now, more than 6 years later, we have explored many places together. She moved across the country with me as I pursued my dream to be an Engineer at Disney, where our home park is now Disneyland Resort. Our engagement took place in Disneyland Paris, and we are bringing it back to where we started by celebrating our marriage at Walt Disney World Resort.
