We love a formal affair! Women, we kindly ask for you to wear a floor-length, mid-length dress, or pantsuit of any color. Men, we kindly ask for you to wear a suit of any color. Ties optional. Please note that both the ceremony and reception will take place on grass. We recommend choosing your footwear with this in mind.
The ceremony and reception will take place on Light-house Island. Guest transportation to the island will be provided by boat. Please note: The final boat to the island will depart at 4:45 PM to allow all guests to be seated before the ceremony at 5:00 PM. Parking will be available with a short shuttle ride to the docks. Parking will be available at Deephaven elementary school. Shuttles will begin running at 3:45PM, and the last shuttle before the ceremony will depart at 4:40PM. Please plan accordingly to allow time for both the shuttle and boat ride to arrive in time for the 5:00 PM ceremony. Deephaven Elementary School: 4452 Vine Hill Rd, Wayzata, MN 55391. Please note that the area is heavily patrolled by local police. If you plan to enjoy a drink, we strongly encourage using a rideshare service such as Uber or Lyft for your safety and convenience. We regretfully cannot accommodate everyone's children at our wedding due to restricted numbers and safety at the waterfront venue. This pertains to children of all ages, including infants, toddlers, and teens. We hope you will see this as an opportunity to let your hair down and enjoy the party with us!
