We knew each other in high school, but we didn’t become friends until years later. It started out as the classic “boy chases girl and becomes friend zoned” relationship. But after a couple years of being best friends and getting closer to each other, the boy caught the girls heart.

The entire night was a surprise. We started out by having wine and dinner at Louvinos, a lovely tapas restaurant in downtown Fishers. Following dinner, we went to Conner Prairie to see Big Bad Voodoo Daddy perform live. We sat in the VIP lounge where we could sip on cocktails while watching the sun set over the prairie. The concert ended, and we made our way home. After being informed of another surprise, we sat down on the couch. One speech and some tears later, we were engaged.
