Question

Why are you getting married in Sedona?

Answer

The choice is purely sentimental and intimate. Alyssa's parents visited this place when they were much younger. Alyssa always enjoyed weekends there with her mom (who has since passed) and with Charlie, plus new and more recent adventures with her future mom-in-law! We know that those traveling to Sedona for our celebration will create lifelong memories from its beautiful landscape and peaceful healing qualities. Once you visit, we hope that you feel as connected to this place as we do!

Question

What is September weather like in Sedona?

Answer

Good question. The weather is amazing! That is why we love it. Mornings start cooler and in the high 60s or low 70s, with daily high temps in the mid-80s and low 90s (no humidity, feels wonderful!) and SUNSHINE! It is recommended to pack a jacket for cooler temperatures, but mostly prioritize warm weather clothing. Don't forget your hiking shoes!

Question

How long is the drive from Phoenix to Sedona?

Answer

It depends. Mostly under 2 hours, depending on the time of day and traffic. The drive is quite beautiful as you get closer to Sedona. You'll notice the landscape changes in a subtle way, eventually leading you to those beautiful red rocks. Charlie and Alyssa recommend fueling up before heading out of the Phoenix area, as it is fairly desolate for the stretch of the drive. We even like stopping at an In-N-Out Burger for something quick and tasty for the drive!

Question

Do you have any fun recommendations for our visit?

Answer

See the "Things to Do" section. You can't go wrong with any path you choose in Sedona. Make sure to prioritize taking in the natural beauty of the landscape.
