In February of 2018 Charley attended an ABAC Stallion Day with some friends while she was in high school. While walking around the old Carlton building on campus they saw a cute ABAC ambassador and thought of some random question to have a reason to talk to him. On the way home that day Charley got on the ABAC website to see the list of Ambassadors and found the name Mitchel Sheffield. She then got on instagram and gave him a follow. Though nothing ever transpired from that follow, Charley was sad to find out her first semester at ABAC, Mitchel had moved to D.C. for an internship. In the summer of 2019 Charley was working as an orientation leader for ABAC and Mitchel was back living in Tifton working at Chill C Farms. Like any relationship these days, they eventually began snap chatting. Later in the summer they hung out with a group of mutual friends and hit it off, bonding over their blended families. That next week Mitchel drove to Perry and took Charley on a date to watch fireworks at the fairgrounds. Though Charley and Mitchel were hanging out every chance they got, they teased that it was just a summer fling, since Mitchel was graduating that December and didn’t know where he would end up. When August came around and it was time to move back into ABAC for Mitchel’s last semester and Charley’s sophomore year, they got their room assignments and found out they were only two doors down from each other! It was meant to be and since then, Charley and Mitchel have been pretty inseparable.
