Question

So what's going on?

Answer

In March 2024, we took a vacation through the PNW, and stumbled upon Lake Quinault Lodge quite serendipitously, mainly due to poor reception. We instantly fell in love with the grounds and view and John blurted out, "we could get married here, you know," and Charley's eyes sparkled. He hadn't even proposed yet. This has been our sole vision ever since.

Question

How and when should we get there?

Answer

Here's the gist: You'll fly to Seattle, and arrange transport (rent a car, carpool, book a ride, etc.) to Lake Quinault Lodge, which is located along the western side of the Olympic peninsula. Depending on traffic, the drive should take about 2 1/2 to 3 hours. Considering this, you should plan to arrive no later than Friday, as the ceremony will be in the early afternoon on Saturday. We will have a welcome party / rehearsal dinner on Friday evening, and all are invited! For further information, see the Travel/Lodge Booking page.

Question

I’m trying to book more than the two nights (9/12-9/14), why wont the website let me??

Answer

The room block is only for the nights of the 12th and 13th. If you are interested in booking surrounding dates, please contact our coordinator (623-777-3140) | Lee-Jessica@aramark.com, and she'll set you up for your stay.

Question

The good news?

Answer

Once you're there, you're there! All events for the duration of the weekend will be held on the grounds of Lake Quinault Lodge. You're gonna love it!

Question

What weather we talkin'?

Answer

Temperatures in September in the Olympic peninsula are quite moderate. Obviously, check weather prior to leaving, but be prepared for cool and rainy conditions.

Question

Can we bring our kiddos?

Answer

We have decided to keep our wedding event adults-only and appreciate your understanding!

Question

Ladies, let's talk footwear

Answer

The ceremony and reception will be held on the lawn. It may be best to avoid high-heeled shoes, as the ground will typically be quite soft from rain.
