It all started with a store closing. Office Depot closed its doors & transferred all of their employees to their sister store, Office Max. Ieman had been working at Office Max all through high school as a sales representative. Charley was recently transferred from Office Depot to the print center at the sister store. We never really thought much of each other at first, Charley was the overly opinionated debate girl & Ieman, the kind hearted, stubborn party boy. It all started one night when we were both working the closing shift & while we waited for our manager to finish tallying the tills, Charley brought up politics... we haven't stopped arguing since!

Throughout our relationship, we have had the amazing opportunity to travel. It started with Ieman graduating Marine Corps Bootcamp that took us to California & Nevada, dozens of trips to our favorite city - Washington, DC, & incredible journeys up & down the East Coast - from Maryland through the Carolinas down to Florida. Three years into our relationship, we adopted our first dog, Rocky, & then a year later our family grew by one with the addition of our crazy puppy, Axle. Through all of the jaw dropping vacations & amazing career opportunities, there were definitely turbulent times for us, but love always perseveres.

In November of 2019, we made the decision to spend the winter together on the East Coast (Camp Lejuene, NC) which required Charley to temporarily relocate with Rocky & Axle. After spending 4 years of our relationship separated, this was an interesting transition to the say the very least. We were able to fall in love all over again during our time together. It was an incredible opportunity to refocus our lives on our relationship. On November 22nd, 2019, we got engaged - well on our way to our "happily ever after!"
