We recommend flying into Denver International Airport. Estes Park is about a 1.5 hour drive from Denver International Airport. We recommend renting a car, its a beautiful drive. If you opt against renting a car, you can book a shuttle from the Denver International Airport to your hotel. This company can arrange to pick you up from the airport, as well as take you to the airport when leaving Estes Park going back to the airport. Head to this website for more information: https://www.estesparkshuttle.com/DIA-airport-shuttle With that being said, if you opt against renting a car, we want to make sure everyone knows that ride share services like Uber and Lyft are not available in town. Although you would be able to take an Uber/Lyft from the airport to Estes Park, CO. You would likely not be able to get an Uber/Lyft from Estes Park to take you to the airport as Uber/Lyft don't usually have drivers that service the area.
We recommend only renting an All Wheel Drive vehicle. December is a tricky month in the Rockies, meaning it could be snowing or no snow at all. Given the unpredictable weather, we think its best to be prepared for either option as we have seen people have some difficulty with traction when driving front wheel or rear wheel drive vehicles.
Estes Park, Colorado is a very small town of around 6,000 people. There are no Ubers or Lyfts in town. Best way to get around town is by driving, which is why we highly recommend renting an all wheel drive vehicle. If you opt to not rent a car, getting around town may be a bit difficult. But there are a few private drivers in town that can get you to where you need to go, as long as you are not in a hurry.
Transportation will be provided to and from the wedding venue. However, transportation will only be provided from Estes Park Resort or Mountain Village cabins to wedding Venue.
While we love to watch children run and play, Welcome Drinks, Ceremony & Reception are Adults only.
Weather may vary. However, typically in December it is cold, with highs during the day in the 30s and during the evening, lows in the 20s. There may or may not be snow. It's a toss up, so we recommend being prepared. This means bring scarves, gloves, and hats/beanies.
Formal Attire, Tuxedos not required.
The best gift we could receive is the gift of your company. However, if you wish to gift us with something, please head to our Registry Tab. Since this is a destination wedding, we kindly ask that you do not bring gifts to the wedding. We will be traveling after our wedding and will not have a place to store these gifts. Thank you in advance.
Charles and I are so excited to share this special day with you. With that being said, we would love if during our ceremony, our family and closest friends could put down their phones, and be fully present with us during this very special moment in our lives. Don't worry, we hired photographers and will share these photos with you, if you wish.
TBD
We have set up a room block with Estes Park Hotel. Please head over to the "Accommodations" tab for more information.
Yes, both our ceremony and our reception will be taking place at Della Terra Mountain Chateau. The ceremony will be outside and the reception will be held inside.
In order for Charles and I to be able to enjoy our special day without any extra stressors. We kindly ask that if you have a question on the day of our wedding, please reach out to Syrel's sister, Sasha Ramirez at (305) 297-7136.
We recommend flying in to Denver, Colorado on Saturday morning. Reason being is the sun sets early in December and we wouldn't want you to drive in a new environment in the dark. Also, if you get there early, you have a bit of time to relax before Welcome Drinks on Saturday December 7, 2024. Head over to the "Schedule" tab for more information regarding the timeline of our wedding.
