Nice
Airbnb still has a lot of affordable places to stay in Nice or Antibes. I would try that first as the hotels are a little pricy since this is the first summer in 2 + years that European travels has been "normal" again.

UBERS
Please note that Ubers run normally as they do in the US in Eze, Nice, Antibes, Vence, St Paul etc and usually not as expensive. Note that the roads can be curvy and winding. All the towns are close to one another and about 20-30 min away from any next major town with the exception of Monaco. Monaco from Nice is about 35- 45 min and in the summer the main entrance to Monaco gets a little backed up. Its worth it though if you want to do a day trip. Car rental is also an option but I would book now and get ready for the round abouts as there is a science to them:)
