We met at one of the most beautiful restaurants in Austin, Texas. Lisa was there with her friend, laughing and taking pictures, while I was out with the boys. The moment I saw her, something felt different. My friends noticed it too and they dared me to go talk to her. With a nervous smile, I walked over and asked if I could take a picture of her and her friend. We started talking, and I asked where she was from. When she said South Africa, I couldn’t believe the coincidence because I had always loved and listened to South African music. It felt like the universe was quietly smiling at us. Before we parted, I asked for her Instagram. She said yes and from that simple moment, the rest became history. Six years later, that brave hello turned into a beautiful life together. We now share the greatest gift of all, our wonderful daughter, Liora, and we continue to grow, love, and build our family grateful for the moment that brought us together and excited for all the moments still to come
