It all started when they matched on Hinge! Charles told Micki pretty early on that he wasn't going to be super responsive on an app because he didn't like to text. After a few days of exchanging messages, he said he would like to call her and chat on the phone instead. They talked every night for at least an hour (sometimes 2!) for 2 weeks before Charles asked Micki out to dinner. They met face to face on 9/24/2021 for dinner at The Cheesecake Factory and followed that with games at Dave and Busters. They clicked so quickly and knew this could be something special. On 12/11/2021, Charles asked Micki to be his girlfriend. They spent the next few years learning each other, growing together, going on adventures, near and far, and falling in love. On 12/11/2025, 4 years after asking her to be his girlfriend, Charles asked Micki to be his wife, and it was the easiest "YES" of her life!
