Welcome to Forever

Charles and Melanie met on Bumble in mid-2021. They shared a booth at The Loophole in Downtown Denton. Melanie just moved to the area for college, and Charles had lived with his close friends in a nearby town. Melanie deeply remembers their first date. Because the second they touched hands, she knew this was the man she would marry. Charles was tall, quiet, and aloof. The opposite of Melanie in those ways, but for the first time on a date, she felt at ease. Charles and Melanie dated for several months before taking time apart. Melanie needed to work on her health, but Charles did not let her go. They remained friends. Being each other's plus one to events and keeping in touch. In midsummer 2023, Charles and Melanie went to a string of get-togethers, which made them closer. Charles asked Melanie to pick up where they left off, and Melanie could not have been happier. In January 2024, Charles surprised Melanie by proposing at the Denton Square across the street from The Loophole. The pair moved into Melanie's tiny one-bedroom apartment with her two cats in February 2024. Now the couple is preparing for their new beginning in their first apartment together. Charles and Melanie are very thankful to have each of you during their journey, now and forever.
