Our Story

Est. September 18, 2015. "If love cannot stand the test of time, then it has failed the test of love." - Bernard Byer

Charlie and I met at a telemarketing center we used to work at called RDI in 2015. He was actually one of the people that trained me. One day a few weeks after I started, me and a few people from my training class were sitting near Charlie at a computer desk (my first time meeting him) while he was trying to show us how to navigate and make phone calls on the software we were learning to use, and I remember thinking to myself- "This guy is handsome! He's wearing a button down shirt AND a tie! How crazy would it be if we ended up together? What are the chances this is the guy I end up marrying?" Then I realized I was day dreaming and should probably be paying attention to what he was saying instead of oogling; but little did I know.. About 2-3 weeks later I was finished with training, working by myself away from everyone, and listening to Stevie Nicks. I mean I was as many rows and desks away as I was allowed to be. Charlie walked up to me and asked why I was sitting alone. I told him it was because I didn't like anyone in our group (and I didn't). He told me a few people weren't so bad, but otherwise agreed and complimented my music before asking to sit next to me. As you can probably imagine, I told him yes. It only took another week before Charlie asked me out on our first date to Scene 75. It was never intended to be a group date, but I brought my sister as back-up and he brought a few friends along as well. When we saw each other we both shared a smirk that seemed to understand the others nervousness as we stumbled through our introductions. Ultimately it broke the ice and bypassed the rest of the awkwardness and cringe that can come along with a first date; and it may have been the only time he's willingly thrown a game of putt putt golf for me. After a few more lunch dates, showing me how skilled he is on the drums, and introducing me to his family and his dog, we made things official on September 18th. I had a feeling about this guy from the moment I laid eyes on him, and look at where we are now? Almost 10 years down, 2 children, my 2 brothers, a very cute, but very yappy dog and an abundance of love and memories.
