We met at Watermans Running Club. Within a few weeks of noticing each other, Charles introduced himself to me during the running club's monthly surf & turf (run & paddle board). After talking the whole time on the run and paddle board excursion, we agreed to meet up for drinks the next weekend. We have been inseparable since!

It was our normal trip to the beach where Charles went surfing while I went for a beach run. After finishing my run Charles wanted to show me something at the pier. I read a banner that was hanging which said, "Kaitlyn, will you marry me?" and as I turned around Charles was on one knee and asked me to marry him!
