Charles and Jessica met online in January of 2022, and from the very beginning something just felt right. For their first date, Charles cooked Jessica dinner and she was instantly smitten. Not long after, Charles proved just how much he cared when he drove an hour through a snowstorm for their second date at Jessica’s house. From that moment on, they were inseparable, spending nearly every weekend together and building a life full of laughter, love, and adventures. About a year later they took the next step and moved in together in Grand Haven. Soon after they adopted their French Bulldog, Kona, who quickly became the center of their world. Whether it’s walking the Grand Haven pier, cheering on the Michigan Wolverines, or simply spending time together at home, their favorite thing to do is just be together. Just before their four year anniversary, Charles planned the perfect surprise. At the Big House, surrounded by the excitement of the stadium and their shared love for Michigan football, he got down on one knee and asked Jessica to marry him. Now they cannot wait to say “I do” and celebrate their next chapter together this October.
