Janneth and Charles met in the summer of 2020 through an international zoom party. Charles happened to be one of the DJ’s, and Janneth reached out to compliment his craft and love of music. I said to Janneth that I would love to keep in touch and hangout whenever I visit California. Since then, they both kept in contact and became friends. Janneth and Charles officially met in person in spring of 2023 in San Diego, CA at an “All White Party”. “I was so excited to see Janneth for the first time in person. When we hugged each other I spun her around the room! It felt like an instant connection” (Charles). Even though the both of them didn’t get to hangout as much in San Diego, they still kept in touch throughout the year. “When 2024 approached, one of my good friends was planning to visit California, and was looking to have a chaperone. I mentioned that I would love to go, because there is someone I need to see” (Charles). I reached out to Janneth and made arrangements to hangout. We visited nice restaurants and explored Hollywood. We had a great time! “Before leaving California, I asked Janneth if she would be interested in dating. I was head over hills when she said “Yes”. I knew then and there that we were made for each other”(Charles). As life progressed, Charles and Janneth kept their relationship strong by visiting each other, praying and sharing personal bible study together. Within the meantime, Charles made arrangements to propose to Janneth with the support of mutual friends behind the scene. The proposal took place on a private rooftop, with views of LA. “That night was an absolute adventure! I thank all of our family and friends that shared their love and support to make the engagement special for Janneth and I” (Charles). This is the story of Charles and Janneth.
