We met in Spanish class on the second day of our sophomore year of high school. I had just moved and was new to the school. It didn’t take long for him and his group of friends to come up to the new girl and ask her for answers on the homework. We instantly hit it off and as he likes to say “The second I met her I knew I needed her in my life.”

He started out by asking my parents permission and the planning began. He knew just how he wanted to pop the question, the hard part was keeping it a secret from me. He planned what I thought was a joint birthday party for the both of us, but instead he had a build-a-bear with his voice ready to ask me to marry him surrounded by our friends and family.
