Is a plus one included with my invitation?

If your invitation didn’t specify a plus one, please kindly plan to come solo. We’re excited to celebrate with you!

Are children invited to the wedding?

This will be an adults-only celebration, so we kindly ask that children do not attend.

Will there be enough seating at the ceremony?

Answer

Seating at the Grosse Pointe Academy is limited, so arriving early is recommended if you want to catch the ceremony. If not, no worries — we’ll be sure to see you at the reception!

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

Right after the ceremony, Emily and Charles will do a traditional processional, where they will walk out of the chapel onto the front lawn of the Grosse Pointe Academy. There will be a champagne cart so you can toast the bride and groom. It's also a perfect time to snap some photos and order your Uber if you're taking one to the DAC for the reception.

Is there parking available at the venue?

Answer

Absolutely! There’s free valet parking at the DAC, and overnight parking is also available in the parking structure if you need it.

What if my heels get uncomfortable during the reception?

Answer

No worries! We’ll have flip flops on hand for any ladies whose heels need a break.

What’s the after-glow event?

Answer

After the reception, we’ll have some fun in the bowling alley at the DAC! Socks and bowling shoes will be provided, so just bring your good spirits.
