In January 2020, Charlie came to his first rally. Destiny saw him from across the room and thought (no lie) "he is going to find his wife here, but that won't be me though." (Insert laugher/foreshadowing) Soon after, Rally decided to play tennis for the first time after group. This started the tennis days. Destiny, having played tennis before and Charlie being super competitive, they both came to ever tennis hangout they could. Charlie was like no one Destiny had meet before, and she happened to find him on the annoying side. Charlie, not looking for a wife, was oblivious of Destiny as anything more than a friend. Eventually, through many times hanging out together, Destiny and Charlie formed a great friendship. Charlie began catching feelings for Destiny first around August 2020, started pairing up with her more often in tennis. In November, Destiny realized, with the help of her now bridesmaids, that she liked Charlie. Charlie realized he wanted to talk and see about dating Destiny one day during tennis because quote on quote "Destiny just liked to do things and have fun. I just liked being around her." Destiny realized she wanted to talk and see about dating Charlie one day during a walk with Christine. Christine asked what her ideal type was and Destiny said, "I just want an athletic nerdy guy, who loves to tell me facts I do not care about, and a guy that makes me laugh." Christine just followed it with, "so Charlie." A few weeks later, Christine got Charlie's number for Destiny. In November 2020, Charlie asked Destiny to come play tennis just the two of them. Conversation took over the tennis match and the rest was history. They spent the entire afternoon together, ending the night grabbing McDonalds and jamming to old rock. On December 29th, 2020 Charlie asked Destiny to be his girlfriend.

Charlie and Destiny love adventure. They enjoy traveling and site seeing, so deciding to go to the mountains on a whim for a day trip was nothing new. However, this time Destiny did not know where they were headed, just that it was in the mountains. Leaving around 7 am they get their coffee and take off. After three hours in the car, the road begins to curve as mountains appear in the foreground. Following a small mountain river uphill, they enter into Piscah National Forest. Stopping first to climb a mountain, they spend an hour up top looking at the beautiful open sky, exploring the woods around. Destiny starts to wonder if Charlie is about to propose. But no. They begin to head off the mountain, stopping half way down to follow a trail, and now Destiny is thinking this must be it, but soon after they start to head back towards the car again. Leaving the mountain Destiny is very curious. Why did he not propose she wonders? Almost at the end of Piscah National Forest, Charlie pulls the car over along the river. Destiny gets out of the car to follow Charlie down to the water. Stepping over rocks they talk about their wounderful day and all the fun they had. Destiny begins to lose faith that he will propose. Thinking they are about to head to the car, Destiny stands up and turns around. Behind her, Charlie is knelt down holding out the ring. There Charlie asks Destiny to spend the rest of her life with him. She says yes.
