Sophia

Matron of Honor

Sophia is the older sister of Caitria and the two have been best friends basically since birth. Although 3 years separate the two, they’ve shared everything from bedrooms to clothes to an undying love of books. Although Sophia is currently living in Belgium with her little family and is over 4500 miles away from her beloved sister, they find ways to remain close. With a shared love of FaceTime coffee dates and gossiping about the latest fantasy books that we’ve been reading, these sisters won’t ever let something as small as distance come between their love for each other.

Brent

Best Man

Charlie and Brent met at the age of 14 and have become as close as family over the succeeding 21 years. They continuously supported each other across countries and states as their adult lives took them on different paths. Despite living in different timezones for most of their friendship, they continue to build their relationship on shared interests and frequent visits. These days, they catch up mostly through late night video game sessions and group chats filled with goofy jokes and memes. Brent considers Charlie to be the keystone of their social circle, keeping everyone connected through his persistent brotherly affection and caring.

Lindsay

Lindsay and Caitria met in the summer of 2016 and when they locked eyes at that YMCA summer camp orientation, it truly was love at first sight. Their friendship grew while singing at the top of their lungs in the car and spending significantly too many hours at Ross. These two have been inseparable in spirit and she could have never imagined that a silly summer job would lead her to one of the best friendships she has ever had. In Lindsay’s free time you can catch her doom scrolling Tiktok, thrifting, reading something that’s making her cry, or spending time with her family. Lindsay has been a long time shipper of Caitria and Charlie and is thrilled to see her OTP finally tie the knot!!

Tanner

Groomsman

Tanner and Charlie met in Okinawa, Japan when they were both stationed there in 2022. What started as a chance meeting outside of the barracks turned into a solid friendship that stuck. They quickly hit it off, spending their free time hanging out, sharing laughs, and unwinding after long days. Most nights, you’d find them playing cards, throwing something together at the grills, or just sitting back with a couple of beers. It wasn’t anything fancy, just good times with good friends. Even after leaving Okinawa, they stayed close, keeping in touch over the years like no time had passed. That stretch of time overseas gave them more than memories, it gave them a lifelong friendship!

Alexandra

Caitria and Alex met in high school in San Diego, California. Their friendship when they were young was strong - they bonded over ballroom dance, boys and books. Time and distance led them apart until a few years ago when they reconnected, and now they are the bestest of friends. Alex feels so blessed to have Caitria’s wisdom, impeccable sense of humor, creativity and beautiful heart in her life. Alexandra is now earning her masters in clinical social work at Florida State University. She loves reading, line dancing, and spending time with her two cats!

Ryan

Charlie and Ryan have been the best of friends for over 20 years, a testament to the strength and depth of their relationship. Despite not attending the same high school, they forged countless memories together, fueled by their shared interests and mutual friends. Their favorite pastimes include playing board games, watching the Ducks, and enjoying laid-back evenings with a few cold beers. Even though Charlie is in the Marines and often finds himself away from home, every reunion with Ryan feels seamless, as if no time has passed at all. Their friendship is a great example of how true connections withstand the test of time and distance, always picking up right where they left off.

Payton met Caitria a couple of years ago through work, and they instantly hit it off. From the start, Payton was drawn to Caitria’s boldness, her colorful charm, and the way she made everything more fun—whether they were in a meeting or debriefing over drinks or a nail session. Caitria quickly became the kind of friend who always showed up, knew just what to say, and made life feel a little brighter. When she’s not hanging out with her five pets or foster kittens, Payton loves traveling, trying new things, spending time outdoors, and unwinding with a good reality TV binge. She’s beyond excited to celebrate Caitria and Charlie and their exciting future together!

Tim

Honestly, Tim has too much to say and share about Charlie, he is his unofficial brother, and his oldest friend. Charlie has been there through most of my major life milestones, and Tim is beyond excited to be there for one of Charlie's most important ones. It is absolutely wild to think that they have gone from collecting Pokémon together, to attending each other's weddings. It's been Tim's honor to be Charlie's friend and be a part of his life for so long, and Tim looking forward to many more years of great memories with both Charlie and his amazing new wife, Caitria. To which Tim wishes nothing but love and joy for!

Alexis is 38, born and raised in Rogers AR, and a high school ceramics teacher. She lives with her husband and their seven (yes, seven!) dogs, and she also foster pups whenever she can. She's all about creativity, doing good deeds, and embracing a little chaos — especially the furry kind.

Charlie and Tom have forged a friendship for over a decade. Bonding over their mutual love for hockey at first their friendship quickly grew. Becoming friends at a pivotal time in each other’s lives they have both shared many of life’s ups and downs offering support and guidance to one another. While distance may separate the friends at times physically they are strongly bound to each other’s lives and talk regularly. Many years have passed but their friendship has many more to come.

Kayla

Kayla met Caitria at work, and they instantly bonded over their mutual love of animals, books, and swapping beauty tips mid-shift. Their friendship was sealed during a road trip to Best Friends Sanctuary in Utah, where they transported a rescue pup and solved all of life’s problems in one long car ride. When she’s not cuddling kittens (literally—she teaches fosters how to care for bottle-fed babies), Kayla’s either hiking, swimming, or camping—with a full face of makeup, of course. She’s an outdoorsy glam girl who’s happiest by the river with her dog and a fantasy novel. Basically, if Mother Nature had a beauty influencer, it’d be her.

Back in their teenage years, the bond considered as brothers was far from establishment. Charlie had always considered Nate to be an outsider and instigator and might have even said an adversary. Somehow, they managed to befriend the same group of group of boys, both of them coming from different school districts. Not knowing they had both come from troubled upbringings. Things finally took a turn after high school when Charlie and Nate eventually became close friends. It took many years and tribulations before eventually they became brothers. The amazing thing about Charlie is his ability to strengthen his relationship for the people he cares deeply about. There's no doubt in Nate's mind that this marriage will become stronger than any other bond Charlie has formed with his brothers.

Nicole met Caitria at a previous job and what started as coworkers quickly turned into an amazing friendship through bonding over books, Ren Faire shenanigans, and a shared love for a touch of chaos. Being Caitria's friend has been such a gift and she is so honored to be celebrating her big day!

Michael and Charlie first crossed paths in 2016 when they checked into the same unit, unknowingly kicking off a friendship that would last for years. Charlie brought Michael back home to meet his friends and family, a gesture that made their friendship feel more like brotherhood. They deployed together twice and pushed through countless field ops side by side, building a bond few others could understand. Despite being complete opposites in almost everything, their friendship never wavered. Thankfully they share a common interest in 90s Hip Hop, disgusting breakdowns, and getting schwifty. Even now, with both of them stationed in different places, they always find a way to see each other.

Friendships start in many unique ways, but this one is as normal as they come. Charlie and Jeff met at a bar. Not just any bar, though; it was a meadery—a place where bonds are forged over more than just drinks. Discussions of board games, video games, local hotspots, and Marine stuff led to a lasting relationship founded on shared hobbies and experiences. Over the next several years, they would spend time cruising around Oceanside/San Diego, further deepening that bond by getting into mild mischief that cops would describe as “not problematic.” Visits may be quick with Charlie at times, but they are always memorable, filled with laughter, camaraderie, and stories that will be cherished for years to come. It’s a beautiful reminder of how friendship can enrich our lives and pave the way for countless adventures together in the future.
