Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

No later than November 11th, 2024! This is also the deadline to book your hotel in our room block. You can RSVP for everyone in your party here on our website under the RSVP tab.

Where do I book my room?

Answer

A link is provided where you can book rooms at the discounted rate. You HAVE to book through this specific link in order to attend our events.

Can I arrive before 3/5/2025?

Answer

Of course! We have the whole week blocked from 3/4/2025-3/11/2025, so please feel free to select 4 consecutive nights that work for you. Note that there is a 4-night minimum, and actual events will be 3/6/2025-3/8/2025, so we recommend arriving 3/5/2025 and departing 3/9/2025.

What airport should we fly into?

Answer

We recommend flying into Cancún International Airport (CUN), which is about 25 minutes away from the resort.

Question

Do I need a passport to travel to Mexico?

Answer

Travel to Mexico requires valid passports, even for US Citizens. Please ensure that your passport expires after 6 months from the date of entry into Mexico. Mexico has no visa requirement for US Citizens, but you will be asked to fill out a FMM form(Mexico's visitor permit) on the plane/once you land. Once you get to immigration and customs at Cancún Airport, the agents will give you the bottom half to retain until you leave the country. It is VERY important to keep this secure until you leave Mexico. Indian Citizens will need to obtain a tourist visa unless they have a valid US Visa or are permanent residents of Canada, UK, or Japan. Please verify requirements before travel, you can find specific requirements here (https://embamex.sre.gob.mx/india/index.php/es/visit-mexico). If in doubt, please get in touch with your local Mexican embassy.

Is there transportation available between the airport and the resort?

Answer

Yes, we will help make arrangements and group as many guests together, as possible based on arrival times. We will share a separate form to input your flight details so we can coordinate. Just note that transportation will be shared with other guests and could make stops at other hotels.

What does the resort include?

Answer

It is an all inclusive resort! Food, drinks, and activities are included in your stay.

Will any events be outside?

Answer

Yes! Sangeet on 3/6/2025 will be outside on the Grazie Terrace in the evening and our Hindu Ceremony on 3/7/2025 will be outside on the beach in the morning, so please dress accordingly!

Is there anything specific I should bring?

Answer

Bug spray and sun block are highly recommended.

Should I bring a gift to your destination wedding?

Answer

Since you’re traveling for our wedding, making the trip is a gift in itself — physical gifts are absolutely not necessary! If you would like to give us a wedding gift, our registry is listed here on the website.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Yes! To us, family is everything, so we'd be more than happy to have your little ones attend. In case you want a mini vacay away from your little ones, we'd be fine with that, too!

I booked and paid for my room, what's next?

Answer

Book your flights whenever you can find the best price/deal! Once you book your flight, please share your flight details with Shaadi Destinations.

Will I need Mexican Pesos?

Answer

You have already paid for the resort so you just need a credit card on file to cover any incidentals or a credit card for any services you choose while you are staying at the resort. You can charge any of the services (i.e. spa, parasailing, etc) you choose to your hotel room and pay upon checkout. We would suggest bringing some cash for tips (bartenders, servers, cleaners, etc.). Please inform your credit card company of your upcoming travel and watch out for any extraneous fees for using your credit card abroad. Some companies charge a Foreign Transaction Fee, typically a certain % of the charge.

What if I get to the resort earlier than the check in time?

Answer

If your room is ready, the front desk will happily check you in. Otherwise, feel free to store your luggage with the front desk and explore the resort's amenities!

How do I know where to go for the events?

Answer

We won’t leave you hanging! We will provide you with a full program of events and locations upon arrival. You will also be added to a WhatsApp group during your stay where additional information will be shared.

What should I do during the times when no events are scheduled?

Answer

Feel free to enjoy the resort's amenities, explore the local area, or relax!

Can I check out of the hotel and still eat/hang around?

Answer

Totally! Keep the party rollin’! You can eat/hang at the hotel while you wait for your transportation to the airport.

Does the resort have Wifi?

Answer

Yes! It is available all throughout the resort at no additional cost.

Is room service included?

Answer

Yes! Everything is prepaid and included. Drink, eat, and do what you wish!

Can I drink the water in Mexico/at the resort?

Answer

No, the local tap water is NOT safe for drinking. Please stick to bottled water. There will be plenty of bottled water throughout the resort.

Does the resort have an app?

Answer

Yes!
