Ally's favorite place for indoor rock climbing and bouldering! A good option on a rainy day.
Ijams Nature Center
A great place for easy, short hikes and generally exploring the outdoors, complete with mountain bike trails and a quarry to dip your toes in (or go swimming)! There's a cool nature center and a ropes course too!
Baker Creek Preserve
A MUST-DO for mountain biking & longboarding enthusiasts (no rentals on site). Located in one of our favorite neighborhoods--SoKno (South Knoxville). Soooo many trails and an epic pump track. Make sure to bring a helmet! Grab tacos and margs down the street afterward, at SoKno Taco Cantina!
Knoxville Outdoor Tours
Everything you could need to enjoy mountain biking while you're here! Free rental bike drop-off at Baker Creek Preserve, plus they offer guided tours of all types of trails, for all levels, with group discounts!
Alliance Brewing Co
Located in the outdoorsy SoKno neighborhood, down the street from Baker Creek Preserve & close to Ijams! Super friendly staff and a great patio for a crisp beer after a bike ride or hike. This is where all the brewers hang out!
Knox Brew Hub
The Hubbbbbb! You've got to check out our buddy Zack's place in the heart of downtown while you're here. This is THE one-stop shop to learn about alllll of Knoxville's breweries. They have great music, snacks, games, all of Knoxville's breweries on tap, and even offer guided walking brewery tours! Awesome people that we love to support. :)
Pretentious Beer Co.
Located in our favorite historic neighborhood, The Old City, Pretentious Beer Co. is attached to a glass-blowing shop where you can watch demos! This is a favorite haunt of the locals and industry folks. You can easily walk around to explore all the other shops, restaurants, and bars from here. Free parking is available under the I-40 overpass on Willow Ave.

You have to eat here. You just do. MAKE SURE YOU GET THE BUNS. ANY OF THEM. (It's right next door to Pretentious Beer Co... can you tell we recommend exploring Old City??) :)
