On-Demand Transportation

Lyft is a convenient and cost effective means of getting around when public transportation or taxis are scarce. Lyft is our favorite on-demand transportation company. Once you download the Lyft app to your iOS or Android-based phone, sign-up, enter a valid phone number and form of payment, you can then request a ride from a nearby driver. Once confirmed, the app shows the driver's name, ratings by past passengers, and photos of the driver and car.

It's tough suggesting just one hotel. It really depends on how long you're staying and what you want to do (besides come see us get hitched) while you're here. If it's your first time visiting NYC, you may want to stay in Manhattan, but if you've already seen the Empire State Building and Central Park, staying in Brooklyn will likely be less expensive and offer more insight into the life we've built here. We have a block of rooms at the Nu Hotel (Group Name: Alexa and Charles Wedding). If you want to stay close to our wedding venue we recommend POD BK (https://thepodhotel.com/pod-brooklyn/) which is an affordable option but doesn't come with any frills.
