Our adventure begins!

Two people taking a chance, created a profile on eHarmony. Charlene’s profile said, “Must love dogs.” Kyle mentioned God and Family which was enough to spark curiosity for Charlene. Kyle’s first message to Charlene was on September 26, 2017 and said, “Well we both went to USC and love dogs-So I hope that scored me some points.” Charlene responded,“Definitely all positive traits.”Charlene was in the process of moving and Kyle was headed out of the country. Kyle and Charlene talked during his trip and agreed to meet for dinner when he returned. On October 10th, Kyle and Charlene met for dinner. Kyle showed up in a suit and had a gift for Charlene’s new apartment. He was charming and quite the gentleman. Many other dates ensued and Charlene was very impressed that Kyle was willing to drive out to Egypt (Riverside) to take her out to dinner. What Charlene noticed most was how the two had such a great time no matter where they went. Monotonous things like traffic or waiting in line were enjoyable because the two would laugh, talk, sing, and read scripture. This was definitely a different world. On Christmas that year, Kyle had called Charlene and said,“If it’s worth anything, I hope we are spending next Christmas together with our families.”A year passed in no time and Kyle and Charlene were excited to be spending Christmas with their families.The perfect tree was decorated by family and friends, matching pajamas were purchased and Santa was ready to visit.All was happy and amazing.Kyle and Charlene went out to dinner with the family on 12/24.They had an amazing time talking together. When everybody left to go home, Kyle invited Charlene to the Dana Point Pier where he said how happy he was that we would be spending Christmas together.Charlene reminded him of what he had said the last Christmas and how it was actually happening.Kyle then got on his knee and asked Charlene to spend all the Christmases with him.Such an amazing Christmas and where the true adventure begins.
