I SAID YES!!

Ernest and I met on 4.20.12 at a place in Harlem. I knew from that night I wanted to see and speak to this man again. I was happy to learn he felt the same. We spoke everyday from that day and it never became routine. We spent our time appreciating each others company. Each day spent with each other was another day bringing us closer to each other. When Ernest asked me to marry him it was not your typical engagement. We looked at rings on different occasions, but on 9.10.2016 there was a plan on his mind that I was unaware of. I looked at about four rings before the associate in the store told me ... wait I have something I think you will like. She was correct. I told her I really like this ring and Ernest and this nice lady walked away to speak. I was sitting there wondering what is going on. Oh I had an idea but I am thinking he is going to buy it later and then he will ask on another day or something. Well, as history shows it he asked me that day. He didn't get down on one knee (thank goodness lol) but he said the most beautiful words to me that brought tears to my eyes. The crazy thing is that he didn't say those words at the jewelry store... he waited until we left and asked me the way he wanted to and I SAID YES all over again. I have no regrets and I am thankful that God allowed this man to be placed in my life and the other way around. On July 26, 2018 we will make our union official and I am unable to find the words that truly state how I am feeling. I can basically say I am nervous, happy, excited, overwhelmed on some days, but most of all I am ECSTATIC ABOUT CALLING ERNEST MY HUSBAND AND HIM CALLING ME HIS WIFE! I am looking forward to sharing this day with our loved ones. I am looking forward to becoming Mrs. Charlene Guirand.
