Charles and Charlene met through her sister. They said hi and bye to each other in passing but it took them years to say anything more. Little did Charlene know that Charles had been inquiring about her for years. After attending Charlene's birthday party and building the courage to ask her for her phone number. They went out on their first date a few days later and as they say, the rest is history.

In front of family and friends at an engagement party disguised as a July 4th barbeque, Charles got down on one knee and asked Charlene to be his wife. Charlene lovingly accepted to spend the rest of her life with him.
