We met the old fashioned way - at a bar! It was New Year's Eve and through some twist of fate we both ended up at the Tipsy Goat. If you ask Robert he noticed me as soon as I arrived and knew he had to meet me. It wasn't until I was outside by the fire pit that Robert approached and made his first move. I was grumpy but he was determined. That determination paid off as we spent the rest of the evening talking and rang in the New Year with a kiss. Two cross-country moves, graduate school, and almost ten years later here we are ready to start our next chapter together!
