Most people know the way we met was...a little unconventional, to say the least. Spencer was visiting Las Vegas for a 'Lover's and Friend's' music festival with his brother Ryan. I was staying out in Henderson with my best friend Aubrey at her companies annual work trip (S/O to PPA). Thanks to Aubrey's coworkers and the convenience of a particular DJ performing at Spencer's hotel, both of us ended up at the same night club on the same night. Luckily for both of us, I was standing on a 6 inch ledge so I could see over the crowd, or I'm pretty sure Spencer probably would have completely missed me. Thankfully he didn't and almost immediately clocked my blue eyes and matching Utah pioneer roots. He came right over and we began talking about everything under the sun. The rest of the night was a blur. The people around us and the music faded away, it felt like we were the only 2 people in that room. After that evening, both of us left wondering if we would ever see each other again. About one month later, Spencer got up the courage to ask me if I would join him for a weekend in Vancouver. That way we could both explore a new city together since neither of us had been. I took a chance, packed my carryon, and googled Canadian facts and accents and headed on my way. Neither of us knew what to expect but we spent the weekend having the most wonderful adventures. Flying on Sea Planes over the ocean, visiting the gardens of Victoria, sitting at the top of a rotating restaurant, and having so many laughs and cries. By the end we realized that we both never wanted to leave. We said a tearful goodbye in the airport and after that we never went a single day without seeing or speaking to each other. After many life changes, job changes, and overcoming long distance. We're elated to start this next chapter and finally live out our lives together!
