Jonathan and Charissa’s story began before they ever knew it — born minutes apart in Enfield, growing up at opposite ends of the same road, riding the same 217 bus toward different dreams. God was stitching their paths together long before their hearts caught up. They crossed paths at Bishop Stopford’s in 2005. Charissa says she doesn’t remember meeting Jonathan — but he never forgot. Life led them in different directions, until years later, a single message reconnected them. After a few delays (including a driving ban Jonathan’s still teased about), they finally had their first date on 16th July 2022 — and it felt like coming home. Since then, they’ve shared adventures, weathered highs and lows, and in 2024, Charissa stood by Jonathan’s side in Jamaica after his beloved grandfather’s passing — her love unwavering. In 2025, they got engaged — a simple question, an even simpler answer. A covenant God had been preparing for years. Charissa may have moved back to Enfield for family — but everyone knows it was really for him. Some love stories spark quickly; theirs grew sweetly and patiently, waiting for the perfect moment to begin.
