On April 23, 2016, what was supposed to be just a casual night out turned into the beginning of forever. Charisma went out with a girlfriend to a hookah lounge called Cloud 9 in Queens (IYKYK), just looking to hang out and unwind. On her way out, she bumped into an old high school friend, Elijah, who just happened to be there with Jo-Quan. Elijah introduced us, and that quick introduction turned into a connection neither of us expected. We started talking on Snapchat, and not long after, we went on our first official date, hibachi at Danny’s Szechuan Garden in Howard Beach (amazing food, don’t say we never put you on 😌). After dinner, we stopped by a local bar and talked for hours. From that night on, we were inseparable. Since then, our love has grown in every way possible, and we have been blessed with two beautiful daughters, McKenzie and Sarai, who are the absolute light of our lives. ❤️ What started as a chance meeting turned into a lifelong love, and we couldn’t be more excited to continue this journey together.
