Who's your wedding photographer?
Answer
All of our amazing professional engagement shots used as the main photos on this website were taken by Wolfcrest Photography (Sara Robertson), and she'll be shooting our wedding, too! (https://wolfcrestphotography.com)
Question
What food will be served? Will there be gluten/dairy free options?
Answer
We'll have Italian hors d'oeuvres for cocktail hour and a buffet for the reception served by Travinia Italian Kitchen & Wine Bar. There will be gluten free and dairy free options! The cake has been made by family friends David and Chandra Ludwig, and will also be 100% dairy and gluten-free!

Will there be alcohol?

Yes! There will be a limited open bar with a couple specialty cocktails, wine, beer, and a champagne toast. Please do not bring any alcohol to the venue!

Can I bring a Plus One?

Unless your partner is listed on the invite, we ask that you don't bring anyone. Thank you!

Can I bring my kids?
Answer
Although we love your kids, we respectfully request that this is an adults-only celebration. Infants under 6 months are welcome. Enjoy your night out!

What time should I arrive?
Answer
Please try to arrive by 4:30; the venue is down long back roads, and you'll want to have time to find parking and get to the ceremony site.

Is the venue accessible?
Answer
There are stairs to the ceremony site and a graded gravel incline to the reception. However, a ride to the ceremony site can be arranged if you reach out to Charis and John in advance!

Will we be indoors or outdoors?
Answer
Both! We'll be outside in the shade for the ceremony, and inside air conditioned areas with open doors for cocktail hour and the reception.

Can I take pictures?
Answer
Please refrain from taking pictures during our ceremony (our amazing photographer has that covered!) You can take pictures during the rest of the evening.
Question
What health and safety measures will be taken during the event?
Answer
The ceremony will be outdoors and the cocktail hour/reception will be in large, ventilated indoor/outdoor spaces with open doors. We will not be requesting masks, but anyone is welcome to wear one.

Will there be a hotel block?
Answer
We have not reserved a hotel block, but there are a lot of AirBnBs around Harper's Ferry, WV/MD, and Frederick, MD. As for hotels in the area, we'd recommend Hampton Inn & Suites Leesburg and Homewood Suits by Hilton Leesburg.
