ARE KIDS INVITED?

We love kids—we really do. But we want our wedding day to be a "kid-free zone" adult affair only (21 and over) for your day off! So unfortunately, we will be unable to provide/book/reserve babysitting accommodations at the wedding ceremony.

What is a "Green Wedding"?

We are skipping out on the extra paper goods not only to save us money, but to help out the environment too! We are having an eco-friendly "green" wedding. That is why we designed (thru the help of Zola.com) this online free link to our website, which provides more information for our guest, about our special day. So, there will be no programs at the wedding ceremony. Thanks for your support.

Is there a Dress Attire?

Yes! Semi-Formal Attire reference the Wedding Ceremony at 3:00 p.m. The "After Party" Celebration at Catch N Release Seafood Bar and Grill is come as you are dress attire. Happy Hour is from 4:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. -- stop on by and show some love for #TeamHoward!!!

Yes! We've created a variety of wishing wells, filled with simple, elegant & fun items that we'd love to share together as Mr. & Mrs. at www.zola.com/wedding/chareseanddarnell2018/registry -- Gift Cards and/or Monetary Blessings are most appreciative and acceptable if you do not wish to purchase gifts from the registries.

Is there an "After Party" after the wedding reception?

Answer

YES!!! "Don't Be Tardy for the After Party." We decided that we are not going to have a full blown out wedding reception. We realized that are union before God, close/beloved family and friends, is much more important to us . Catch N Release Seafood/Thai Bar and Grill, located inside Hampton Towne Centre, 2 Towne Centre Way, Hampton, VA 23666, is only 11 minutes (8.0 miles) from the church. It's a real cozy, lay back, fun & comfort food "Cheers" atmosphere...it's one of Darnell and I fab go to be yourself & let your hair down kind atmosphere. Happy Hour is from 4:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m., their is no dress code & the food is so inexpensive (everyone will be responsible for their order of drinks/food). So we hope that you will still come and be apart of our celebration. Transportation to/from the hotels, wedding ceremony & reception.

Answer

Reference transportation from the blocked hotels, to the church and/or after party celebration, please plan accordingly securing a rental car, carpooling, Uber or private vehicles. The blocked hotels that we have secured are unable to provide transport to the church or social/reception/after party. Rest assure, the approximate miles between Ivy Baptist Church and Catch N Release Seafood Bar and Grill is 11 minutes/8 miles.
