FAQs

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please either accept or decline your invitations by no later than September 8th.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes and no. Wedding party: For the bridesmaids, we ask that dresses are modest - that means the skirts are knee length or longer and shoulders and chest areas are covered. Please no sequins, rhinestones, or anything glittery. Pearls, beads, etc on your dress is okay. Groomsmen, ring bearers, etc will be given matching ties in the wedding colors; so please just arrive with a dark grey or black colored suit and a white dress shirt. (A vest is not necessary. Just bring a suit jacket and nice pants.) For all other guests: Please feel free to wear whatever you find suitable. We ask only that you wear something more formal (i.e. Suit/dress shirt and nice pants, dress, blouse and skirt, etc).

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

We will be taking family portrait pictures prior to the ceremony, due to weather concerns. Please arrive dressed and ready for the ceremony at 1:00pm to ensure that you are present for the photo taking. Thank you!

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Everyone on the guest list has been granted plus ones as necessary to include kids and/or partners. If you would like to bring someone that is not listed, please reach out to the bride or groom for permission as there is a limited amount of seating available.

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Please refer to the "Travel" and "Things To Do" pages. Several local options have already been listed there with links to websites, phone numbers, and other information. We also HIGHLY encourage the use of Air BnB! LOTS of locals have postings for spare rooms in their homes or ENTIRE houses for rent by the night. Please look into this if the hotels do not work for you. In some cases, this may be a cheaper option than a hotel.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There is a gravel parking lot beside the Pavilion that will be shared with the tent, a dirt lot on the other side of the road, across the street from the tent, and there is a physically paved parking lot next to the soccer fields that guest can park in as well.

Question

The Address Takes Me to a Baseball Field...?

Answer

The River Park Pavilion includes 2 soccer fields, a volleyball court, a basketball court, a baseball field, etc. It is a LARGE space! We have reserved the gazebo for our event. Look for all the signs!

Question

Where is the Ceremony Taking Place?

Answer

The ceremony will be under the gazebo, which will also become the dance floor; so please carry your seat to your table once the ceremony is over!

Question

Where Will the Reception Be?

Answer

Look for the giant white tent! We will be setting up next to the gazebo on a gravel parking lot. It is within sight of the parking lots next to the soccer fields and normal traffic passing by on the road.

Question

Can I Help Set Up?

Answer

Yes!!! We need all the help we can get! We have the space reserved from 8:00am to 9:00pm, so please get into contact with the bride and/or wedding planner to get more information as to when the set up will be and what help will be needed.
