Our Story

"And They Were Roomates."

They moved in together. Yes, they moved in together and that is where their love story began. She was looking to get out of paying for another semester of expensive dorms and he wanted a stable living situation for Physical Therapy school. Like all fires, their relationship started as a small ember of friendship until it grew to a raging inferno. They did everything together. With every conversation, they realized they had more in common than they thought. They even had in the same birthmark in the same spots. He was suspicious of just how much they had in common, but it wasn't enough to stop him from hanging out with her; she was just too cool. They had cooking competitions, watched/made fun of bad movies, went to jiu jitsu club, hiked/biked, studied, and pulled all-nighters until the pandemic threated to tear them apart. Naturally, they moved in together for the second time. They made a good pair. They both wanted to grow as individuals and become the best versions of themselves. They understood and supported each other's goals. They still work together well today. He is working on becoming an award-winning archer and she is learning how to be an okay acoustic guitarist. They support each other when things go wrong and encourage each other on their victories. On their first big trip together in Hawaii, their bond was solidified when everything that could go wrong, did go wrong. On their drive over to a mountain biking excursion, their car got a flat. With no help from AAA, there were not many options for the stranded couple in the tiny town. They took their newly rented mountain bikes over a busy highway to an ACE Hardware 3 miles away for a tire repair kit. Their ordeal was traumatic but biting each other's heads off was the last thing on their minds. A total of 6 miles and $16.79 later, they patched their tire, scrapped the idea of biking any more than they already had, and headed home for a nap. Natalie and Charleson are proud nomads with their next big trip traveling across the country to see all the national parks. They have seen 4/63 national parks (without a hitch) and have a ways to go. When things get tough, they know they can depend on each other to get out of any situation, tire repair kits included.
