Downtown Holland Shopping District
Holland is a small-town that has a lot of charm! Check out 8th street downtown, with lots of great shops (Gezellig, Reader's World, the Outpost), and restaurants, coffee shops and breweries. A few of our favorites include Lemonjellos Coffee Shop or 205 Coffee Bar, New Holland Brewing for food not necessarily beer ;) , The Peanut Shop for a sweet treat, Hops at 84 for a variety of beer taps, and many more!
Deboer Bakkerij South
Incredible Dutch bakery a few blocks from our apartment, we also LOVE their fried chicken. Get it to go and eat it at Kollen Park just a block away!
Saugatuck Dunes State Park
One of our favorite places to hike, hang at the beach, and enjoy the dunes! Enjoy a few great short hike options that all lead out to gorgeous West Michigan sandy beaches!
Waypost Brewing Co.
Fantastic local brewery outside Fennville on a blueberry farm, amazing sours and lagers!
El Huarache
One of our favorite Mexican restaurants, fast, casual and delicious!
Mi Favorita Grocery
Other favorite place for tacos, gorditas, tamales, and amazing Guac! Get it to go and head to a park in downtown Holland.
Downtown Saugatuck/Douglas
Saugatuck and Douglas are neighboring towns south of Holland that have great shops, great beaches, antiquing, and great food and beer! Check out some of our favorites - Uncommon Grounds Coffee Shop, The Southerner, Ida Reds, GROW, tap rooms downtown, Everyday People Cafe, and many others!

Windmill Island
Beautiful gardens near downtown Holland surrounded by a marsh and the Black River. Windmill Island also contains a lot of history about the Dutch settlements in Holland and a working Dutch Windmill!
