Catawba Falls Trail

An easy 3 mile (1.5 mile out and back) hike that brings you to a beautiful waterfall (this is where we got engaged!).

Lane Pinnacle Hike

Craggy Gardens (Multiple Trails)

Along the Blue Ridge Parkway, you'll come to the Craggy Gardens visitor center. There are a few trails to hike here- but also make sure to drive shortly past there to Craggy Pinnacle for a short trail that brings you up to a killer 365 view.

Zen Tubing

If you need to recover from the wedding, this is perfect! You may even see us on the river the day after the wedding...

River Arts District

Not just one location, but a series of art galleries. We highly recommend hopping from place to place, especially Friday or Saturday.

Navitat Canopy Adventures

Asheville has a number of good ziplining places but this is one of the best.

The Biltmore Estate

Spend a day exploring the Biltmore Estate - touring the mansion, grounds, winery and more.

The Omni Grove Park Inn

Grab drinks and watch the sunset from their outdoor terrace- the view is hard to beat. This is where we stayed the weekend we got engaged.

Burial Beer Co.

Hands down our favorite brewery in Asheville!! (Or maybe tied with Funkatorium) Casual food available too.

The Funkatorium

Asheville’s best sour beers, plus great food, large outdoor seating area and dog friendly. HIGHLY recommend.

New Belgium Brewing Company

Massive brewery, often has food trucks with a huge patio looking over the river.

Green Man Brewery

A short walk from the Cambria Hotel, great craft beer (especially IPAs).

S&W Market

Located two blocks away from the Cambria Hotel, this indoor food hall opens in June 2021 featuring some awesome local food/drink options.

Smoky Park Supper Club

Great place to get lunch/brunch/dinner on a nice day, with outside seating by the river and an airstream bar.

Buxton Hall Barbecue

Southern comfort food. Eat in or takeout and bring to a nearby brewery. Catawba Brewing is attached.

The Hop Ice Creamery

Right across from Hole Donuts, in case you want to treat yoself. (Spoiler alert: we are serving Hop Ice Cream at our wedding)

Summit Coffee Co.

Very good coffee. The main location is in the River Arts District but they’re also opening a location right by the Cambria Hotel.
