Highly recommend! Great little outdoor shopping center with an outdoor bar and several eateries. A mix of western and surf shops. You can grab a drink and walk around! There is even a petting zoo called River Street Ranch. Fun Fact: Brooke used to go to that same petting zoo when she was little.
Take a tour of the beautiful historic Mission San Juan Capistrano. This landmark was founded more than two hundred years ago as the 7th of 21 missions statewide and features a chapel still standing where Saint Serra once celebrated Mass. See a snapshot of California’s history by touring the exhibits and museum rooms. Or explore the 10-acre grounds of gardens, fountains and adobe preserved architecture while listening to an audio tour.
Our favorite dive bar in San Juan Capistrano! Country music, dancing and a whole lot of fun! We plan on continuing the party after our reception here, everyone is welcome to join!
Avenida Del Mar is the "Main Street" of San Clemente. Filled with shopping and restaurants, it is the perfect place to stroll and enjoy the day. Down at the end of Del Mar Street is the beautiful San Clemente Pier. If you want to sit down to a nice meal, Nicks is one of our favorite restaurants. If you are looking for a quick bite and drink, we recommend Docent Brewing or The Cellar.
Just steps away from our reception is the Los Rios Historical District. Home to unique shops, little coffee spots and great restaurants. Perfect place to walk around! For restaurants we recommend Trevor's at the Tracks. TIP: if you walk through the Los Rios district you will end up at River Street Market!
We LOVE Dana Point Harbor. Lots of shops and restaurants. You can grab a coffee, walk around, look at boats and possibly see some harbor sea lions! The Dana Warf offers deep sea fishing and whale watching as well! We have been whale watching here several times and it is such an amazing experience. Highly recommend! FYI: The harbor is currently under renovations in some areas. Everything is still open to enjoy!
