This is by far our favorite restaurant in town. If you go, we recommend the Aloo Gobi (vegetarian) or the Murg Tikka Makhani (chicken). And of course the Garlic Naan!
One of the best things about Albuquerque is all the great hiking, biking, and just general outdoor space! We highly encourage anyone coming in from out of town that enjoys hiking and being outdoors to take a trip to the foothills.
Adrian and I met in downtown Albuquerque for our first date. While the cafe we met at is no longer in business, we have returned several times to Anodyne - which is the bar we went to when the cafe kicked us out at closing time! With several pool tables, plants, and roaming puppers, this bar with a laid back environment is a pretty good physical representation of our spirits.
There is a tram here in Albuquerque that takes you right over the mountains to the top of the Sandia Peak. For a long time, it was the longest tram in the world. Highly recommend if you haven't done it before! There's also a cute restaurant at the base of the tram, and a casino on the way to it!
There's a beautiful BioPark in Oldtown that has a zoo, aquarium, and botanical garden. Highly recommend, especially with kiddos!
If you need a good way to relax and unwind while in town, this trip to Ten Thousand Waves in Santa Fe won't disappoint. It's a beautiful Japanese inspired spa that boasts a large outdoor hot tub and sauna, a meditation room, and several massage options. Definitely worth the trip if you are here to relax!
If you're here, you might as well get up in the air! Adrian and I took a hot air balloon ride for his birthday last year and it was quite an experience! Definitely recommend!
We don't actually rock climb regularly, but this place is cool!
This is a cool little set up with a bar and several restaurants. They've been fashioned out of old freight containers and the majority of the seating space is outside. It's beautiful.
