Things To Do

We're so excited to share a few of our local favorites with you! If you are looking for other local treasures of a specific experience, please let us know. We'd be happy to share.

Taj Mahal Cuisine of India

1430 Carlisle Boulevard Northeast, Albuquerque, NM 87110
, (505) 255-1994

This is by far our favorite restaurant in town. If you go, we recommend the Aloo Gobi (vegetarian) or the Murg Tikka Makhani (chicken). And of course the Garlic Naan!

Elena Gallegos Open Space

7100 Tramway Boulevard Northeast, Albuquerque, NM 87122
, (505) 768-5353

One of the best things about Albuquerque is all the great hiking, biking, and just general outdoor space! We highly encourage anyone coming in from out of town that enjoys hiking and being outdoors to take a trip to the foothills.

Anodyne

409 Central Avenue Northwest, Albuquerque, NM 87102
, (505) 244-1820

Adrian and I met in downtown Albuquerque for our first date. While the cafe we met at is no longer in business, we have returned several times to Anodyne - which is the bar we went to when the cafe kicked us out at closing time! With several pool tables, plants, and roaming puppers, this bar with a laid back environment is a pretty good physical representation of our spirits.

Sandia Peak Tramway

30 Tramway Road Northeast, Albuquerque, NM 87122
, (505) 856-1532

There is a tram here in Albuquerque that takes you right over the mountains to the top of the Sandia Peak. For a long time, it was the longest tram in the world. Highly recommend if you haven't done it before! There's also a cute restaurant at the base of the tram, and a casino on the way to it!

ABQ BioPark Aquarium

2601 Central Avenue Northwest, Albuquerque, NM 87104
, (505) 764-6200

There's a beautiful BioPark in Oldtown that has a zoo, aquarium, and botanical garden. Highly recommend, especially with kiddos!

Ten Thousand Waves Way

Ten Thousand Waves Way, Santa Fe, NM 87501

If you need a good way to relax and unwind while in town, this trip to Ten Thousand Waves in Santa Fe won't disappoint. It's a beautiful Japanese inspired spa that boasts a large outdoor hot tub and sauna, a meditation room, and several massage options. Definitely worth the trip if you are here to relax!

Air Carriage LLC

6421 Riverside Plaza Lane, Albuquerque, NM 87120
, (505) 604-9549

If you're here, you might as well get up in the air! Adrian and I took a hot air balloon ride for his birthday last year and it was quite an experience! Definitely recommend!

Stone Age Climbing Gym

4130 Cutler Avenue Northeast, Albuquerque, NM 87110
, (505) 341-2016

We don't actually rock climb regularly, but this place is cool!

Green Jeans Farmery

3600 Cutler Avenue Northeast, Albuquerque, NM 87110
, (505) 401-1000

This is a cool little set up with a bar and several restaurants. They've been fashioned out of old freight containers and the majority of the seating space is outside. It's beautiful.

For all the days along the way
