What will the dress code be for all of the events?

Answer

At the wedding: black tie optional which means as formal as you’d like to be; picture formal gowns (long or cocktail dresses are appropriate) and tuxedos (suits and sports jackets/slacks are appropriate). No jeans or shorts. Definitely no white! All other events are casual but feel free to spruce yourself up. Picture “Date Night” attire!

Are kids allowed?

Answer

No kids under the age of 15 will be permitted at the wedding. We will have a complimentary babysitter at the hotel for those that just can’t leave the little ones behind. Kids are allowed to attend other events but there will be drinking and glassware. And all of the healthcare professionals in attendance will be OFF DUTY!

How do we get around?

Answer

We will have a shuttle service for each day’s event. You can Uber/Lyft from the airport to the hotels (~$50-75 each way) and around Weatherford. You can also use Uber/Lyft to explore Fort Worth if desired. Rental cars are always an option. Both hotels and the venues will have ample parking but we want you to enjoy a few adult beverages safely so please don’t drink and drive.

Where do we stay?

Answer

The two hotels listed, Fairfield Inn and Suites and the Best Western, have blocks available. Otherwise choose whatever works best for your travel party.

What will the weather be like?

Answer

Thursday’s and Friday’s events will be partially inside and outside. Temperatures in the evenings in May are about 70s. Saturday’s event will be be partially inside and outside. It should be a comfortable 80 degrees during the day but down to the 60s at night. The ceremony and reception are on paved ground but the cocktail hour has the option for grass. Beware stilettos. Sunday’s event will be held indoors.
