Hey y'all! We're getting MARRIED!

We met at a well known open mic in the DC area. Chantel's business partner saw Schai in her booth and came up to say hi, and introduced Chantel as well. As the night went on Crystal became a bit too intoxicated to take care of herself and Schai and Chantel had to put their heads together to get her home safely. It was pretty much game over from there. They have been connected ever since!

Schai planned an open mic event called "Poetsgiving" for friends and family. Now, Poetsgiving was essentially supposed to be an annual event curated by a mutual friend of ours. However, we were able to trick Chantel into believing this was the first one, and she would be hosting. Schai had planned for 5 artist to perform along with a live painter. Schai was the last artist to go up, and popped the question through a poem.
