Shatia

Matron of Honor

It has been a true joy to know Chantel all my life as her older sister. From a young age, we were inseparable and often mistaken for twins. While we share a striking resemblance and have made countless memories together, Chantel has always been fiercely independent and true to herself. Even as a child, she possessed a remarkable vision for the greater things in life and an incredible resilience. This is why I am confident that Chantel will make an exceptional wife to her future husband Luis. Marriage is all about navigating life's journey together and keeping an eye on the bigger picture for your union. I feel so grateful to share in this special moment with my beautiful sister Chantel, and I cannot wait for her wedding day.

Shalisha

Matron of Honor

Hi!!!! My name is Shalisha Haynes, and I am proud to call Chantel my best friend. I am also excited, thrilled, delighted, and honored that I get to stand beside her as her Matron of Honor when she marries the love of her life. I met Chantel during our freshman year of high school in 2004. We were in Ms. Anderson’s English class together, and she instantly became my best friend forever! Chantel helped me come out of my shell and has been a constant source of joy and support ever since. Over the years, we’ve shared so many memories—both laughter and tears—but through it all, our friendship has only grown stronger. She’s always been there for me, and I’ll always be there for her. Love you, Chantel!

Tracey

Maid of Honor

From the moment Chantel and I met in middle school, I knew we were destined to be lifelong friends--- and here we are, all these years later! Watching her grow into the incredible woman she is today and step into this beautiful new chapter fills my heart with so much joy. I am beyond proud of her, and I can’t wait to see all the beautiful chapters that lie ahead. Through every twist and turn, Chantel has been a constant in my life, so I couldn’t be more honored to stand by her side while she marries the person who truly completes her.

Shanae

Bridesmaid

Chantel and I have been more like sisters than cousins for as long as I can remember. We were raised together alongside her sisters, sharing everything from a bed for three to countless childhood adventures. We were inseparable — from making up dances to pretending we were the next Spice Girls or Destiny's Child. Every moment spent with her was unforgettable. We laughed, we loved, and we created memories that have shaped who we are today. Even now, the bond we share is stronger than ever. Chantel isn't just family; she's my sister in every sense of the word. I am truly honored to be a part of your wedding; you deserve every bit of joy that is upon you.

Pria

Bridesmaid

Hi! I'm Pria, the proud and excited bridesmaid for my amazing sister Chantel. She’s three years older than me, but it feels like we’ve always been on the same wavelength—sharing memories, laughter, and endless support. As close as we are, I’m so lucky to have her not just as a sister, but as a best friend. She’s also a wonderful aunt to my daughter, who absolutely adores her! I’m thrilled to stand by her side on this special day as she marries the love of her life."

Nieya

Bridesmaid

As her little sister, I’ve known Chantel my whole life, but what makes our relationship so special is how we’ve grown together over the years, despite the distance. We share so many core memories, from milestones, to the birth of my nephews, to countless adventures, she’s always been someone I looked up to! Being able to stand by her side as one of her bridesmaids, on such an important day is truly an honor. To witness her happiness as she marries Luis is a moment I’ll cherish forever. I’m so lucky to have her as my sister, and I’m beyond thrilled to celebrate her love and her journey into marriage!

Geornaya Lampley

Bridesmaid

I met the beautiful Chantel almost ten years ago. We were introduced by my brother O. We instantly connected upon introduction. She was so charismatic and brutally honest about how she felt about my brother O. I thought if I seen her again after that night it would be by chance, because my brother didn’t have one 😂. The following year, they gave birth to my nephew and their family blossomed. I am extremely grateful for her amazing soul. We developed our own bond over the years and the love for one another continues to flourish. I am blessed to not only witness but be apart of their Union. May God continue to cover and bless their love.

Chris

Best Man

Luis and I went to West Side High School together from 10th -12th grade. We barely spoke and were mere acquaintances. Fast forward a couple years, our paths crossed again at the start of our career in Law Enforcement. We worked together at Northern State Prison and became not only coworkers but friends. The beginning of a strong bond; from going out just about every night, long talks, meeting each other families and the way things naturally clicked. We became inseparable, blending our families, he became my brother. I’m honored he chose me to be the Godfather of their first son, my Chasey Chase (Love that little guy to death). The conversations, which at times came with a little disagreement made us the men we are today. Luis is an amazing father and will be a great husband. I can’t wait to see what the future has in store for them. I will be right there to support my favorite couple every step of the way. Thank you for choosing me to be the Best Man on your special day.

Groomsman

Luis and I met when I transferred to work at Northern State. I remember I worked on his unit and we had small words at first, but then we attended a "Blue Line" party together. There he said the infamous words that locked us in as brothers forever, “You didn’t choose one wing, one wing chose you!!!!” From that day he always had my back and even taking me on my first trip to Atlantic City. High speed chases, celebrations , and real conversations when I needed it. I’m beyond grateful to have him as my brother and him even trusting me to be the Godfather to one of his sons. I’m excited for the wedding day and I can’t thank Lu and Telly enough for allowing me to be apart of their memory. Love you both!

Dre

Groomsman

I met Luis during our first year at William Paterson University, and from the start, I knew he was someone who took his goals seriously. From going to Wayne Hall on campus to late-night talks about life, we quickly built a friendship that only grew stronger over time. Whether it was discussing our adult life goals or diving into real estate plans, Luis was always driven, focused, and determined to succeed. Now, over ten years later, he’s more than just a friend—he’s my brother. I’ve had the privilege of seeing him grow into the incredible person he is today, and I have no doubt he’ll bring that same dedication and love into his marriage with Chantel. Seeing them together, it’s clear they’re meant for each other, and I couldn’t be happier to stand by his side on this special day. Here’s to Luis and Chantel—wishing you both a lifetime of love, success, and unforgettable memories!

Kareem

Groomsman

I met Luis as we ventured into the change of our lives together joining the State Corrections Academy. Not knowing each other from a can of paint, to what I believe came to become a brotherhood. I always looked at him as a Lil Brother and we not only carpooled , we stood next to each other as brothers in our platoon. He was always on a different beat and couldn’t get out of his own way. I gave him the nickname “Fuck It Up Farmer”. Of course, joking and as a nickname out of love. Fast Forward, we were separated by being sent to different prisons after graduating; but, we always stayed in touch and hung out. I then transferred to Northern State , where I reconnected with my Brother. Years later, I’ve witness my Lil Brother grow into an incredible man, father, and soon to be husband. Being apart of this journey has made me very proud of my brother Luis. He has made me proud to call him a true friend and Brother in life. I look forward to continuing to share and support him in all that life brings him and love him deeply.
