Are kids welcome?

We have chosen to host an adults-only reception, creating an elegant evening where all our guests can fully relax and enjoy themselves without the distractions of children.

Yes, we are happy to accommodate most food allergies and dietary restrictions! Please ensure you let us know in advance.

We will have a cash bar available at the venue for guests to purchase their preferred drinks.

Please NOTE - the bar will ONLY be serving BEER AND WINE there will be ABSOLUTELY NO HARD LIQUOR SERVED i.e. Vodka, gin, rum, scotch, whiskey, etc. We ask ALL GUESTS to please respect our wishes with this matter

To ensure we can accommodate all our beloved guests, only those explicitly named on your invitation are included. Thank you for understanding!

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes, there will be parking available at Andrew Haydon Park 1327 Carling Ave. - where the ceremony will be held - and there will also be parking available at the Kanata Legion Branch 638 70 Hines Rd. - where the reception will be held

What happens if it rains?

Answer

Rain or shine, the celebration continues! Please bring umbrellas if rain is in the forecast.

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

We kindly request that guests do not take photos during the event. We have professional photographers to capture every moment so we can unplug and enjoy!

What is the dress code?

Answer

The dress code is semi-formal. We suggest cocktail dresses for women and suits (tie optional) for men.

How should I RSVP?

Answer

To RSVP, go to the RSVP page on this website or by sending back your RSVP card (follow directions given). Please submit your RSVP by April 15th, 2026, so we can plan accordingly!
