Not really - think of a casual riverside event with a spiffy dress shirt or sun dress. Shorts are acceptable!

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Ceremony - Parking will require walking up and down hill. Please communicate with us BEFORE hand if you will need to be dropped off next to the pavilion. We will have a sign to indicate the parking area. Reception - After the ceremony there will be food and fun at the Olivette Farmhouse. This is a short drive from the riverside in the same community. There will be signs!

How do I find the event?

Olivette is a residential community that is sprawling. We will have signs… so please FOLLOW the signs. We will probably be too busy to answer calls the day of!

Hurricane Helene Recovery

Answer

Olivette is right next to the French Broad River which flooded during Hurricane Helene. The venue does not look the same as it once did. With that said, our ceremony will be at the river and our reception will be at the Farmhouse, in the same community. Our community was devastated by the hurricane, and it is what it is. We will do our best to remember the landscape as it once was while recognizing the impact the hurricane is still having on our region while we recover.
