Answer

The wedding will take place on Saturday, August 1st, 2026, at Hotel El Embajador in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. Both the ceremony and reception will be held at the hotel.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Please plan to arrive by 5:30 PM. You’ll be greeted with light refreshments and drinks as we get ready to celebrate together. The ceremony will start promptly at 6:00 PM.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We’re so excited to celebrate in style and would love for everyone to dress to impress! We kindly ask for formal attire. Ladies are invited to wear maxi dresses in spring or summer colors. Gentlemen are asked to wear formal suits. To keep the spotlight on the bride and the bridal party, we ask that guests avoid white, cream, ivory, yellow, and similar colors.

Invitamos a las damas a usar vestidos largos (maxi) en colores de primavera o verano. A los caballeros les solicitamos asistir con traje formal. Para mantener el protagonismo de la novia y el cortejo, les pedimos amablemente que eviten los colores blanco, crema, marfil y amarillo o colores similares.

Can I bring a plus one?

We would love to celebrate with as many people as possible, but due to the capacity of our venue, we are only able to accommodate the guests formally listed on your invitation. We hope you understand that we’ve chosen to keep our celebration intimate. We can’t wait to see you there!

What is the RSVP deadline?

Answer

If you are able to RSVP as soon as you know your plans, we will really appreciate it. Please RSVP by May 15th, 2026. Due to vendor requirements and final headcount, anyone who hasn’t responded by then will unfortunately be considered to have declined. Thank you for helping us plan with love and intention!

Do I need a passport to travel to the DR?

Yes! All U.S. travelers will need a valid passport. Make sure it’s valid for at least 6 months after your travel dates.

We kindly ask that guests refrain from using phones or cameras during the ceremony so our photographers can capture the moment without distractions. After the ceremony, feel free to take all the photos and videos you’d like!
