During the height of a world wide pandemic, Chantal took a leap of faith and bought a one month subscription on March.com, hoping paying for an app would help find someone who was worth her time and energy in the dating world. About the same time, Brady also took a leap and signed up for Match.com, hoping the women would be real people and maybe just maybe, find a new connection worthy of his time. Chantal noticed a very attractive fellow, who looked like a normal office working guy, and sent him a quick message, something like “hello.” (She was really not trying too hard at this point) A couple days later, she got a “hello, how are you?” Back. Clearly, neither of them were interested in putting forth a lot of effort because the previous conversations, dates, and meet-ups were not showing any promise of finding our one true love. After a couple of days of small talk and chit chat, there seemed to be a little hope of a connection, so they decided to meet in the real life to see if they were being catfished. Brady chose a location about middle of their current living spaces at a park for a nice walk. Chantal took hours getting ready, not because she needed to, but because she dreaded going on another date with another guy who would turn out to be a waste of time and emotions. Brady asked 2 hours in to her taking a million years to get ready how things were going. Chantal, hoping maybe he would cancel, but also not, thought “dang it, he is patient and being really nice even though I’m making him wait forever” and she hurried out to meet him. She would be very happy she did. Upon arriving to the park parking lot, she texted him to let him know she finally arrived, and he got out of his vehicle and she about died. She had indeed been catfished! But not in the way she expected, not this time, his “normal office guy” picture on the app was not who just stood up out of his truck. This man was built like the hulk and was an easy 12 out of 10 in the way good looks department! They started to walk, and talk, then sat on a bench, and talked for hours, and hours… and more hours. Suddenly the night was almost gone, but neither of them were done enjoying each other’s company. Brady walked Chantal to her car, then whipped out his secret weapon right there in the parking lot, gave her a sweet, melt her ice cold heart kiss, and she was smitten for life. Catfished or not, it didn’t take long for Chantal to know he was the one for her, and how glad she was he was patient enough to wait for her that night. He still to this day says he didn’t catfish her, but there is picture proof, he is just humble. Brady and Chantal have both had some really rough patches in their past relationships which have left them uniquely broken, but their broken pieces fit perfectly together like a puzzle creating a whole picture that is unbreakable and more secure than either of them could have ever imagined or wished for. Four years later, these love birds are merging their families, planning a dream wedding, renovating their shared house they bought two years ago, and planning a long happy life together with more adventures and wild rides. We would be honored to have our dearest friends and family at our wedding to share our love and commitment to each other.
