We met through Kayla Smith (one of the bridesmaids) who worked with us at the Jimmy Johns in Grosse Pointe Woods. Jack was fresh out of college and still working there at the time, and I was working at a funeral home but still kept in touch with everyone. I had a tough day at work so I asked Kayla to meet at our favorite brewery, Baffin. Jack overheard that Kayla and her husband were going to Baffin after work and asked to tag along. We all meet up at Baffin and Jack and I met and hit it off. Baffin is a special place to us now, and is the place where Jack proposed to me. Who knew a fun college job would eventually lead to us finding our forever person!
