Please read this page in its entirety. We have included what we anticipate to be the most common questions. If your question has not been answered here, please refer to the other tabs before contacting us as we are busy individuals. Thank you for understanding.
Question

Why are you having a destination wedding? Why are you having a destination wedding?

Answer

Because that’s our business… lol, just kidding. 🤍 We truly wanted a wedding weekend filled with fun and unforgettable memories with our closest loved ones. We love traveling, so celebrating in the Caribbean felt like a natural choice. We understand this may not be attainable for everyone, and we also recognize that hosting our wedding during the holiday season means some may not be able to attend. We explored other options, but ultimately chose what feels most aligned with our hearts. If you’re unable to make it, please know our love for you remains the same.

Question

What should I do if I cannot make it?What should I do if I cannot make it?

Answer

You will be deeply missed, but we understand that sometimes life presents unexpected challenges. If you are unable to join us on our special day, please kindly mark "Will NOT attend" on the RSVP so we can accurately plan our celebration.

Question

How many days do you recommend staying in Punta Cana? How many days do you recommend staying in Punta Cana?

Answer

We recommend that wedding guests stay in Punta Cana for a minimum of 4 days and 3 nights. While this is the minimum, you're welcome to extend your stay as you wish. Nick and I will arrive on December 1st, and we suggest that you and your guests plan to arrive at least one day before the wedding to ensure a smooth and relaxed experience.

Question

Will kids be allowed at the wedding? Will kids be allowed at the wedding?

Answer

We kindly request that our wedding celebration be an adults-only event. While we adore children, this evening is designed for our guests to relax, enjoy, and celebrate without childcare responsibilities. Please arrange alternative care for children under 18. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to sharing this special night with you.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Due to venue capacity constraints, plus ones are only permitted for guests specifically noted on their invitation. We look forward to celebrating with your family and friends, but please note that only invited guests will be able to attend our ceremony and reception.

Question

How do I RSVP?How do I RSVP?

Answer

Responding to your RSVP is easy! Simply use the personalized link we'll send via text message. We want to ensure a seamless wedding experience, so please note that your reservation is crucial to our final guest count. Once our room blocks are confirmed, we'll communicate the specific booking deadline to secure your spot at our celebration.

Question

Can I stay at another resort and attend the wedding? Can I stay at another resort and attend the wedding?

Answer

To attend our wedding, guests will need to book a room at one of our designated resort venues. Day passes are not available, so each attendee must be a registered guest at the selected resorts.

Question

Am I required to book with the room block?Am I required to book with the room block?

Answer

While booking within our designated room block is strongly recommended, it is not mandatory. If you choose to book through another method, please use a reputable site and reserve early to ensure availability. However, please be aware that booking outside the room block means the resort may not recognize you as part of our wedding group. In the unlikely event of an overbooked resort, this could potentially result in your being relocated to another property. We advise booking through our room block to minimize any potential complications and ensure a seamless experience for you and your fellow wedding guests.

Question

Are payment plans available? Are payment plans available?

Answer

Payment plans are available for your room reservations. You can make payments in two installments: half the total cost is due in July, with the full payment required by late September. Our booking link allows you to conveniently spread out your payments over time. To secure your room, a $100 deposit is required.

Question

Is travel insurance required? Is travel insurance required?

Answer

While travel insurance isn't mandatory, we strongly recommend protecting your trip investment. Unexpected events can disrupt even the most carefully planned travel, and having comprehensive coverage provides peace of mind. From our personal experience, travel insurance has been an invaluable safety net in uncertain situations. We suggest exploring options through reliable providers that offer affordable and flexible coverage to suit your specific travel needs. travelinsurance.com

Your room rate includes a comprehensive range of amenities, ensuring a worry-free vacation. While most experiences are complimentary, select services like the spa, off-resort excursions, bowling, and child care are available for an additional fee.

Question

Is ground transportation to the resort included? Is ground transportation to the resort included?
