Our favorite breakfast tacos in the neighborhood. Do not sleep on the potatoes! Channing’s favorite is a chorizo, egg and potato taco and Erin’s favorite is a potato, egg, and cheese, both with their green salsa. Note: they are closed Sundays!
A great independent bookstore in our neighborhood with drinks and pastries/light bites. A good pit stop on a walk around Hyde Park.
One of our favorite Austin staples (and where we had our engagement pics!). We love a classic pepperoni, their eggplant pizza, or their Italian sub (they are huge!!).
Some of Erin’s favorite pastries (get the kouign-amann) and great brunch served here. The seasonal menu always has something new to try.

A walk by the lake is the best way to start your weekend - start at the Central Public Library and cross at the Pedestrian bridge.
